Web23 de nov. de 2010 · I used hooker supercomp swap headers for my 351/c4. plenty of clearance for the transmission but I still had to beat the #8 tube to clear the steering shaft. I think 580.00 at summit. It might be best to just find a shop to make a custom set for you. It was engineered to fit a 351W in a 65-66 chassis, which is quite a bit tighter than your 68, so they should fit quite easily. It depends on the what chassis the 351w manifolds are from, but for the most part, the early 351W manifolds are very similar to the 289hipo manifolds. Neither are going to be falling off of trees. the 289 hipos will be easier to obtain from the mustang resto venders.
