WebIf memory serves, a sigmoidal plot looks like an S. It has a period of little change, then high growth, be then it levels off. A hyperbolic plot does not have that initial period of little change, and is just a growth phase followed by that leveling off. It kind of looks like an upside down L. Hope that helps.
